I have used Necscape 7.2 mail for a long time. Yesterday it stopped displaying the Junk Mail, Templates mail folders contents. I can send emails but they do not show in my sent folder. When I get email it is not shown in my inbox, although it shows the number of messages as having been received.

I downloaded Thunderbird and it works perfectly and shows all messages received and my templates and junk. A quirky thing is that netscape has starting to ask me to compact the folders every time I log on.

I really hope someone can get this fixed as I love the 7.2 mail client. I use Netscape 8 for browsing and just wish it had a email included.

The email I am having trouble with is a POP account.

    thanking you

Welcome to the Forum, Bob Thorne!

    Bob,

How large are the folders you mention? Open Windows Explorer and check the size of the Inbox, Junk, Templates, and Sent folder. Right click those folders, and select "Properties ". That will give you size of the folder.

Look in the "Local Folders" folder, and see if by any chance those Sent messages might be in that folder.
