    Netscape 7.2
    Windows XP SP2

We deleted a mail account name pop.isp.net.
    Re-created the account.
All mail was deleted once we recreated a new account, along with additional folders.

Is there any way to recover this mail?

FYI I tried resetting the Local Directory, but I think that the new account over wrote the old one. Is there a specific file that email resides in, or another method?

    Welcome to the Forum, Lufty!

    Lufty,

Open Windows Explorer, and take a look at your Mail Account folders, which are located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profile_name\*.slt\Mail\pop.isp.net

Do you see pop.isp.net, and pop.isp-1.net?

If so, then your Mail is located in the Mail Account folder without the -1. This is assuming you have only one Mail Account.

In Netscape "Mail & Newsgroups Account Setting | Server Settings ", scroll down to the "Local directory" field. Ensure that the path points to the pop.isp.net Mail Account folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profile_name\*.slt\Mail\pop.isp.net

Let us know if you continue to have problems.
