Recently, when starting my computer (Windows 2000 professional), I was asked to create new accounts for Netscape, thereby losing all of my stored e-mails.
I've checked through some of the postings and responses, including the one named Lost Mail & Newsproups.............etc. Quite frankly, my lack of 'expertise' doesn't enable me to follow the step-by-step advice.

I have tried C:\documents and settings\user name (mine) etc and I get the message 'Document moved or removed'.

Is there a way of retrieving lost e-mails? How? How do I prevent it happening again?

    Thanks

    Dave

Dave, where did you try this? You should do it from Windows Explorer, with Netscape closed. And, the App.Data folder is hidden in WinXP, but can be unhidden as given in the instruction from Ramona's website.
