Netscape 7.0 (Compact)

Hello to all.

Downloaded and installed NS 7.0 (Compact) from Holger's site.

Have a couple of questions for anyone
that has D/L and installed.

1. Edit-> Preferences -> Privacy & Security. I don't show anything in the sub-section. I get a message that says "Double click to expand" and nothing shows up. Have these selections been incorporated someplace else ?

2. Can someone please point me at the NS "keyboard shortcuts" or "hot Keys "

You know, in your shoes I would be very tempted to unstall and reinstall Netscape. The Security & Privacy options should be there for you. I'm not using the Compact Version now, but I know the options were available when I had the Compact version on my system last week.

Did you install the newest Version from 10/4/02? I'm going to download this Version and then see what I can see without installing. I've seen no other posts on the NG's relating to this issue, but that is not always an indication of problems.

For your Keyboard Shortcuts, click on Help|Help and Support Center or (F1). Click on Index|Keyboard Shortcuts.

I'll get back to you, and in the meantime perhaps someone else using this Version will give you some input.

Thanks for the quick response. I D/L'd the 10/04/02 version. Everything else seems to be working, I think I will sit tight for awhile and see if anyone else responds. I am working on a new box and am using a Laptop in the meantime, so I really don't care if all the things work right or not.

Will be gone for a couple of weeks starting 10/08 will check back when I returen.
