In NS 6.2 you can set an option to save email addresses to a file called "Collected Addresses ". I set it to save both incoming and outgoing. I says at the bottom of the address book that there are 20 addresses saved but none show up. For the life of me I can't find them anyplace. Does anyone know where they might me or why they don't show up? Thanks:confused:

    NS 6 address book

Verry strange, this morning all the addresses are back. I don't know what happened to them, maybe a quirk in my ISP.

    Missing Address's continued

My Collected Addresses seems to be working each time it is requested, but the main address book comes and goes. One click of the TaskMenu entry for Address Book will produce a full book; but the next time it is requested it will come up empty of addresses!. The count at the bottom is always correct, however.
This is a new installation of 6.2.1 on a new machine, with mail and addresses transferred from previous 6.1 install.
How do I stabalize the Address book display?

Hi Patrick, and welcome to the Forum,

The answer for you and Kas:

You can't stabilize the Address Book in 6.2.1. This is an ongoing project and definitely still in the early stages of development. I would use 4.79 Messenger for Mail & Newsgroups, and use the Standalone version of Netscape 6.2.1 to experiment with.

The 6.2.1 Standalone version, 8.58 MB, can be downloaded here:
