Netscape 4.7 E-mail

Hi Everyone,
Am attempting to start from scratch as my harddrive went south on me right after the CD- Rom went and after I picked up the worm virus plus two others I was unaware of until I removed the worm.
It's been an exciting two weeks or what ever it's been. Time flies when you're having fun.

Now I have a problem and for the life of me I don't remember how to correct it. It's so simple I feel foolish for posting this.

When I click on Get message a I get a, what ever you call it, that drops down and ask me for my password before I can open the Get Message to check my e-mail. This happens each time I log in and click for my mail. I remember it being simple to correct. But it isn't when you don't remembeer how or what to do. So I would appreciate some instructions on how to correct it.

Hopefully, this will do the trick for you. While in Netscape, got o Edit/Prefrences/Mail & Newsgroups/Mail Servers. Choose your mail server and click Edit. Re-enter your password, make sure Remember Password is checked, and exit out of Netscape. That should hold your password. I can't remember if a reboot is needed, but I don't think so.

If that doesn't help, post back.
