    :confused::confused::confused:Since few days ago during startup I get this message:

    Microsoft .NET Framework
    Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

    Conversion from string "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//D" to type "Double" is not valid.

    If I click continue the same message appears after few minutes.

    This is the details of the message:
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging= "true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Enabling debbuger from .NET Framework SDK did'n help neither reinstalation of .NET Framework.
    What should I do?
    Thanks everyone.

    Without becoming a code expert, it looks like there is a problem opening a webpage.

    Can you make it happen? If so, try doing the steps running Internet Explorer if you are using different browser.

    It may be related to malware, like a browser hijacker. So try running AntiMalwareBytes
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    This is my search
    http://au.search.yahoo.com/search;_...ML+PUBLIC"+-//W3C//D"&fr2=sb-top&fr=sfp&rd=r1
    but lots of code information (not my area).

    I will move this to General Internet, they can send it back if it doesn't find a home there.

    Matt
