I've been using Nero 6.3 for a while. Has worked like it should until today. I wanted to make an audio cd with some mp3s I have, when I dragged them over I got the following message "the file format is not supported ". These are just regular mp3s that I have burned before on different music compilations. Nothing that I can tell had changed on my system. Any ideas? I'm running XP SP2. I've updated and run all my anti-virus/ antispyware and reg cleaner tools. But still no luck.

    update

Well, I think I fixed the problem by doing an Uninstall/Reinstall. Which was odd, since I couldn't uninstall through Add/Remove programs, nor through Nero's uninstall .exe file. So I just deleted the Nero folders and manually cleaned the registry. If anyone comes across this issue I'd sure like to know what caused it.

With MP3s, it might be better to make the CD as a "data" disk, rather than a music CD. It would probably be expecting to use .cda files.
