Nero InCD

    Hi, Is it possible, if yes can I make a copy of a InCD like copy a whole CD onto a new CD, would I have to Format the CD first and would it be possible to copy it onto a DVD as the CD is almost full.

    :confused: :confused: Not sure I completely understand you, but ....

    You want to transfer the contents of a CD formatted using InCD to another CD or DVD? Simplest method is to copy the CD contents to your hard drive and burn to CD/DVD.
    Why not use a new one?

    Hi Pete, I guess I did not explain myself to well here, sorry about that let me try again :D one of my older formatted InCD CD is nearly full and when I use it, it was created with Nero 6 I am now using Nero 7 Nero tells me that the CD is near its usefull end. I do have a lot of stuff on there that I don't want to loose so I would like to copy the full contents of that CD preferably to a InCD-DVD.
    Guess my question is can I copy InCD to InCD if that makes sense.
    The long way round would be copy the InCD to the HD and then back to a new Formatted InCD-DVD.

    Not really - that's exactly what Nero does when copying CD's using only one burner and is far more reliable than copying 'on the fly' if two burners are available.

    I am not sure that Nero - or any burning program - can burn from CD to DVD automatically, but I could well be mistaken. However we are talking formatted CD/DVD's and it may well be possible if you have two burners to make the copy manually - drag and drop or copy/paste, etc as you would between two drives.

    I would go the long way round - copy to hard drive and burn to your formatted DVD.

    BTW - I don't know much about InCd although I use Nero 7. In the early days of XP InCd was a PITA in terms of compatability with XP and I dumped it and never had reason to go back to it :)

    Hi Pete, I just have received my reply from Nero regarding the above question,it can take a while getting answers from Nero but to their credit they always will reply.
    The answer is "No" you can not Burn a copy of InCD using Nero Rom, the solution is "Drag & Drop" onto a new Formatted CD- DVD.
