I got recently 'Nero Express 5.5.10.30'CD kit contains DOS Driver, Nero Express and InCD, drive manual, Acrobar reader. My familiar get it with new PC bundled. Hi dont use it. There is note on CDROM: "The software will only work with the drive it came bundled with ".. Will this software work on another PC if I do install it?

Only if the CD writer is of the same make and model. You can always try it with another writer, but in my experience you will get a warning dialogue along the lines you describe.

In the 'good old days' the copy of Nero supplied was compatible with all current writers, but in recent years Nero have limited the 'free' software supplied with CD burners to the specific make and model of drive with which it came. I suspect this is to encourage you to buy the full version.

In XP there is built in burning software.

I also think that you may not be able to update it to a later release in the 5.5 version, such as I think the latest being 5.5.10.56. Those bundle deals are very restrictive. About as useful a bundling Norton AV with a new motherboard. You get 30 days DAT updates, or if your lucky, 3 months worth. :(
I've found that you should never buy hardware because of the software it comes bundled with. Buy it for the hardware specs alone. :)
