Nero CD Rewriter refuses to wipe disc

    I have Nero Cd burner Version 4 and It is refusing to wipe my cd Rewritable discs, either as full or quick.

    Is this a software problem or could it be a problem with my cd drive which is a Sony.

    I am contemplating buying Nero Ver 5.

    I believe you can update to the latest version of Nero free of charge from

    http://www.ahead.de

    The latest version is 55100. Try that first and if it still will not erase the CD-RW disk then you know what is wrong.

    Have you tried a CD lens cleaner to see if it makes any difference?
