I wish to download a version of Netscape that is compatible to my computer. I use Win98, not SE or 2000. Where do I pick this up? I currently have IE on my computer but do not like it and would like switch over to use Netscape as my source to the internet.
    Thanks
    Claire

Netscape7.2 is the latest, but not up to snuff. There are some security concerns. I am not even going to discuss NS8.01, which is a browser only, and comparable to IE (earlier NS contain also mail). Security wise Mozilla1.7.8 or the browser only Firefox1.0.4 are more desirable. download site? Try this location .

What about Donzilla? I know it is based upon NS 7.2 and I think he said that it is up-to-date on all of the security issues. Does anyone have the latest on this?

Donzilla, the Gecko-based browser by Don Luchini, now uses Mozilla as it's codebase. The latest version, 0.7 PR2 is built on Mozilla 1.7.8.
