Need to uninstall AdAware

I have been using the free AdAware for a little while now and I really like it a lot. I decided to get the paid version because of AdWatch. Will I need to get rid of my current installation, or can I just install over it if it's the same version or higher?

 

After looking at the FAQ http://www.lavasoft.de/faq.html I would uninstall the program you have now before installing AdWatch. Below are 2 of the FAQ

Q: Should I uninstall the older version of Ad-aware before installing the new one?

A: If you download the 'full' update, uninstall the previous version.

Q: My Ad-aware Plus options are greyed out, why, and how do I correct this?

A: This is usually due to having multiple copies of Ad-aware on the system. Verify that Ad-aware Standard version has been uninstalled from the system.

 

Done and done. I can't believe how tiny AdWatch is. I wonder if it really works.
