Need Sys Board for Aptiva2142-S62

ANYbody Know where I can get a System board (# 93H7524) for IBM Aptiva 2142-S62 (w/TV out) ?

IBM has it for $499 +
I won't pay that much to fix an Old machine.

Some One suggested MicroImpact.com, they did't have it.

Impactcomputers.com HAD one on their List. But after contacting, said they could not get one.

 

Wow!! $500 for an Aptiva board!!

I had a K6-2-Compaq system that the board died on. The replacement board was $192 far more than I was willing to pay. Since the board and the case were both proprietary - I dumped the case bought new ATX board and case for under $75. Transferred everything on to the new board - works like a charm and has been running constantly for the past year or so.

How valuable is this machine to you? I on't think there's too many people left selling aptiva boards You may want to consider a new case and M/B. I'll almost guarantee that it's a proprietary board and case.

What kind of processor etc does it have?

Have you tried places like eBay? I've seen several new boards for 2176s going pretty cheap. They may have the board you need.
