I am working for a company and we have field offices in other states.

These field offices do a long download and this one office it always fails with a network interruption. I am able to remote into their location and at times I have been able to remote into two of their workstations at one time. I will all of a sudden get booted from the connection and the download fails for them also.

The reason why I write this is because they have contacted their ISP Company. Their ISP Company says it’s not them. We have checked here and it’s not us. We believe it is something to do with their network.

My question is what are the types of things that a technician should check for? I just want a list of things so I can hand to the technician.

They are running Windows 2003 Server.

    Thanks for any help!

Don't ignore a possible electrical problem. A brief flicker of the lights (almost unnoticeable) will cause ethernet devices (routers, switches, etc) to reset/restart.
