We have Word Perfect 11 for a word processing program. We like to help out when we can a Residential Home for the Disabled when they need some forms made up. Problem is when we do them in WordPerfect with its formatting and then send it to them as an attachment in Email when they open it up it has lost all its formatting. They use Mocrosoft Office. I can scan it and send to them but when they get it and enter it in their Word Processing program it becomes usless as they cannot due any editing to it.
Does anyone have any ideas other than buying and installing M.Office on my computer. ?
    Tks

When you save the doc, is there an option to save as a Word doc?

Yes there is that option which I have tried but it does not help. Documents still do not save formatting.

Can try making the forms more simple so that you don't have anything to lose when you covert to the other program.

You might also try installing (free) OpenOffice and use it to create forms. It is about 95%+ compatible with Microsoft Office and I suspect that most forms created in OpenOffice will look the same when opened in MS Office.

    Hi Newt
Must have read your mind. Just downloaded it and will install and give it a try tomorrow.
    Thanks for your input.
