need help with wireless/ windows 98

We just purchased the wireless router/cables ect. we have 4 computers running on this- 2 computers are xp, 1 is ME and 1 is windows 98- we installed the cards on those computers. So far we can get 3 of them to work- but for some reason ?? ( please help if you have a answer or suggestion what to try ) we can't get the windows 98 computer to load right. It will show a icon that there isn't a connection- thats the only computer that I have seen that on. We have uninstalled it and re-installed the software- we have put the card in the other slot- any suggestions on what we should try next ??

I forgot - my husband said he thinks it has something to do with the registry ? I may have put a password in and have forgotton what that was ? he says there is a message that comes up about a administrator problem ? could this be why we can't get this computer running right ?
how can I get into that ?

Have you tried a different card? Maybe one that works in another PC.

Also, just to make sure I'm clear, is the 98 system not finding a network at all? start~run~winipcfg and does it have an IP address & subnet mask assigned?
