I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and can't find a driver for my Epson R200 printer.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi bellisimo. Based on this page it appears that Windows 7 will install the driver for the printer automatically so you don't have to manually install a driver for this printer.

    Thanks Evan,

Yes, I've been trying several times to install the driver in the way you suggest, but for some reason it's not working. I was hoping someone might know of a way I can actually download the driver so that I can install it myself.

I have an Epson Workforce WF 3640. Do you have the Software disk that came with the printer. Just install the software. When I reinstalled windows 7 I used the disk and the next day I was alerted that the latest drivers were available and I installed them.

    Hi LJ,

I have the original disk, but it's only for Windows XP. I've tried to install it and it makes me go through filling out the form to register the printer as if it were a new one. The problem with this is that I live in Canada and the form doesn't have a place for a Canadian province and it won't accept a Canadian zip code, so I can't complete the form. I used to be able to download a driver and install it myself. That's what I'm hoping someone will be able to help me find.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

What happens when you attempt to setup the printer? Are you connecting the printer via a USB cable to the machine? Did you go to Start< Devices and Printers< Add Printer and follow the instructions?

    Thanks LJ,

I've tried these but they insist on trying to let Windows install the drivers and it doesn't work. Also, this one doesn't even have the driver for my R200. I really need a driver that I can download and install myself.

    Hi Evan,

Yes, I was connecting in the way you refer to and it wasn't working. However, I just now plugged the printer into another USB port and it is finally working. Thanks again.

    Hi LJ,

I just plugged my printer into another USB port and the printer now works. I didn't try that earlier because the printer worked fine from that USB port using the same printer on my other SSD.

    Thanks for you help.

    Bert
