It seems like every time someone makes a really good automated CraigsList search program, they either go out of business on their own or they get a cease and desist letter from CraigsList. So far, I've bought three programs that were eventually shut down, two for $10 each and another for $30.

Is anyone here using anything really good that they can recommend?

    I need a program that:
    • uses both positive and negative search terms.
    • can accept many entries/searches
    • can be set to search at regular user-defined intervals (ie: every "X" minutes all day long)
    • will send me e-mail notifications
    • will also send me SMS notifications
I've managed to get some fabulous deals like this by being the first one to call and I really would like to find a replacement.

Kim Komando had one in her newsletter the other day. Below is a link to it.
I have not used it so don't know how good it is or what it does. She does give out some good program info all the time in her newsletters.

That article refers to CraigsPal which is the one I paid $30 for and it has been shut down.

OK. I just got that in one of her newsletters either this week or last week. Sorry it didn't work out. Maybe you will find something else.

Thanks for trying; that was the very best of all the tools I have used. CraigsList sent him a cease and desist.

As much demand as there is for this, I don't understand CraigsLists' reluctance to develop a better search. Seems to me they could make a fortune selling the better search by subscription. But, I guess they are smarter than me as I wouldn't know even where to start with such an idea.
