    Hi All,
I am trying to remove two old versions of Java Runtime Environment (ver 5.0 update 6 & ver 5.0 update 10) from Win XP Pro SP2. There isn't any entry in the add/remove programs applet for either version. The only entry for Java is the version 6.0 update that I want to keep. Are there any alternate commands that will let me remove the old Java versions. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. OleGreyGhost

Have a look here for the program JavaRa, which removes old and redundant versions of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

Burr, Thanks for the quick reply. I will check it out and let you know how I made out. I did try the revo uninstaller, but it could not find the older versions. Take care, OGG

Burr, Thank you very much. The program "JavaRa" did the trick. It not only removed the two old versions, but my current version after updating to the latest version on Javas' web site. A very useful utility. I now have 50 megs extra free space. We can consider this problem solved. Thanks again. Sincerely, OGG
