need a startup utility,to select which apps to boot?

    need a startup utility,to select which apps to boot?

    I forgot where to get this startup utility,.........or is there a window in controls ,to select which apps to boot or not?

    There are a few such things around, but I like the Startup Control Panel applet:
    http://www.onlythebestfreeware.com/program.asp?program_id=82
    You can get similar options by going to Run--> msconfig. The applet is a little simpler and doesn't give you that warning on startup that you are starting selectively.
