Need A hard Drive Guru ??

    My computer is running cheetah scuzzies...but was thinking about adding one of those large WD ide drives with 8mb cache (for logical storage) as master on IDE :0...........
    Question;
    what effect could this have on my scsi drives, will it slow the sys down or what??

    scsi & ide drives

    Not at all coz your scsi adapter is HOST with bios to boot & as long as you have set the BIOS to first boot device=SCSI you are set for thrills:D
