This is the first step toward the release of the final version.
It has a splash screen, which was not found before, and, a preinstalled weatherbug addon. Very annoying, at best, and possible spyware.

Thanks Westside! I have been unable to get rid of the Weatherbug on b3 no matter what I try. I am sorry to see it is there by default...

    Ramona,
I never had Weatherbug before, but I was able to uninstall it from the Addon Manager. I had a devil of a time to change the location from Mountain View, CA to Omaha,NE. I used to live very near Mountain View, in the Silicon Valley, but I don't care about its weather.

I still can't get rid of the darned thing, however I was able to move it to the Navigation Toolbar.

    I love the Splash Screen!

    Ramona,
I did not have Weatherbug before, but RC1 has a Weatherbug entry in the Addon manager. And, I uninstalled it. One could just disable it. It is a proper addon, so there should be an .xpi file, most likely in the profile.

    Thanks Westside!

Yes, I saw the way to uninstall thru Add-ons at another Forum. I too have rid myself of the pesky thing.

According to Jay Garcia, it does not have adware. I disagree, but that's the way he is. The old full version should be seen in the Add/Remove and removed from there.
