    I am running windows 98SE and have just started getting a popup about N-case. It wants me to reinstall this program, I do not remeber installing it. What is this program/popup and do i need it?? Thank you in advance for any help. :confused:

    It's spyware. You need to download SpyBot and Adaware, install, get the latest updates, and remove what it finds. The moderator will probably move this thread to the Security forum.

    Adware! You probably wouldn't remember installing it. Most likely it was installed as excess baggage when installing something else. See:

    Make sure you have the update for either spybot or adware or Norton which, I think, may now include the removal of this but don't hold me to that statement (referring to Norton).

    N-case problem fixed

    I ran Spybot and found about 40 Back Lite Web files (deleted them all) and 6 N-case indicators (deleted all them) That correct the problem with N-case, thank you all for your help. ;)
