Hi All, Having trouble here finding a folder called C:\Windows.
You are supposed to be able to go there and change some things. I specificly would like to add things to my send to menu but I can't find the folder or the send to file. In my computer the folders I have do not say "Windows ", is there another name for this in Windows 2000? Is there another name for the send to file? I haven't had 2000 very long and am kinda confused by it. I'm running the SP2 also. Thanks very much, Lady Grey :)

Try WINNT. If that does not work, use windows explorer and do a search for explorer.exe or win.ini since both should be in the windows folder. Then see where they were found - but make sure it is the file itself rather than a shortcut.

2K is good stuff but unless you were using NT before, it can certainly be confusing for a while.

Stick with it and post any questions here. Somebody can help you out.

Sendto folder is in Documents and Settings, in the folder with your user name.

    Found C:\Windows

Newt, thank you very much. At least I have found that this C:\Windows I keep hearing about is actually WINNT on our systems! Both the search files came up as being in WINNT. Still can't find this send to thing but I'll keep right on looking now that I know where to look! :) Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm gonna learn this if it takes the rest of my life! :D Thanks again, Lady Grey
