I'm using MYIE along with Netsc 7 and really like it.
Question: How can he emulate IE without Microsoft having a fit and suing him? The MYIE performs just like IE. It lacks some advance features, and doesn't have mail, but I can do w/o that. So how Bill G. hasn't sued the pants off of this guy for duplicating his browser?

MyIE is a very small file compared to what would be required for a full-fledged browser. This is the tipoff. MyIE is not a browser, but just a skin for IE. Like the Neoplanet "browser ", and others, all it does is alter the IE user interface.

Since I prefer IE to any other browser I have ever tried, MyIE is nice because it has the IE functionality and Opera-like tabs, too.

This also means that for MyIE to have all the necessary security and to keep it up to date with Macromedia and other products, you should faithfully install updates to IE, MyIE's mother.

Since the primary language of MyIE seems to be Chinese, and Asia is a very big place, there is no guarantee that Chang You even wears pants.

    MY IE Mail

I did find "mail" under Tools/Email, which opens up the Netscape messenger.

Strange. Mine loads Outlook Express, just as IE does.

Perhaps this is a Netscape problem if you are using Netscape mail. It may have made registry changes.

    Mail MYIE

Yes, using Netscape as the default & mail messenger.

Outlook Express is working now; it was a glitch or a quirk but straightened it out through accounts/new account.

    Sounds good.

By the way, I have v. 3.2E (b475). Not much luck finding English versions or updates. Do you have a good source?
