my world is upside down

I started up my PC this morning and after the opening screens, the display was upside down! I have no expertise or even experience in this sort of thing and no clue as to what to do to rectify it. I ran a virus scan, that was negative for viruses. right now my flat panel monitor is upside down so i can read what's on it. any ideas?

 

I believe you can use your arrow keys to rotate the screen.

 

Screen rotation / orientation is generally managed by software provided by your video card (also 3rd party software). Do you know which brand of video card you have?

 

If you right-click on a blank part of the desktop, select Graphics Options>Graphics Properties; then select the Rotation tab. You will want the Normal option. If for any reason that is already checked (which really shouldn't be the case), just select 180 degrees to turn your world right-side up again.

Generally speaking, this problem isn't the result of a virus.
