My System Restore will not work!

I am just having the worst computer problems today. I tried to fix my NAV problem, and it didn't work. And now, when I try to do a System Restore, it doesn't work. It always gives me the error saying that it could not restore back to the checkpoint I wanted. I even went back to last month, and it still would not do it. And on the internet, I cannot log on my account. It blinks and continues to show the log on screen. I dont know what to do! I am contemplating backing up all of my work, and reinstalling everything. But I thought I would come here and see if I could get some help! Please help!!!

I have gone through the similar situation that you are suffering.

The Windows XP restore system seems not so useful when you really want. Finally, I had to reinstall it.
