My outlook 2007 won't open.

    After clicking my Outlook 2007 icon the hour glass appears for 5 seconds then nothing. Word, Powerpoint, Excel and E-Mail will not open. Where do I start?

    Give us as much information as possible...

    Like - did these application work at some point? If so - were there changes to your PC?

    What Operating System are you using?

    The more history you can give us the better.

    outlook 2007 won't open

    Thanks for the reply...This is a little new to me...

    I have an HP Pavilion laptop. XP OS.

    Been using Outlook for years w/o trouble. noticed it didnt work on saturday sometime. I had removed some programs I haven't used in a year or two. Not aware that they could be connected to Microsoft. I don't think so.

    Tried to do a system restore but somehow I reset it on the 21st.

    What can I do? Where do I start.

    You should be able to pop in your Office cd and do a Repair Install.

    I ran Repair from original disk. During Configuration Progress I got an ERROR 2349 message that said to contact Microsoft.

    would I be able to resolve this by removing the program and re-installing it?

    I guess that ther was more to the error message??

    This is for an older version:
    "Internal Error 2349: Copy resumed with different info" error message when you try to install part of Office 2000

    It's possible your office cd is dirty/scratched and or your drive has some dirt in it that needs to be blown out.
