I have a weired problem. I´m running WinXP Pro with SP2. I have a small LAN at home with 5/6 computers.

When I first time click the "My network places" -icon , I can see all computers/shares in my lan but the second time I try this the "My Net....." stops responding and explorer.exe hang and my desktop crashes so I have to restart the computer.

I´ve searched for a fix almost aweek now and I´ve seen there are alot of people having this problem - but havn´t found a solotion yet.

Appreciate any hints solving this problem :)

    TIA

What do you mean "the first time" and "the second time" ?

Does it mean every time after you reboot your computer you can see all computers and shares in the "my network place" window only once and close the window then can't reopen it?

Does every computers in your lan perform same?
