Hi all... I know this may sound like an incredibly stupid question, but, I accidently somehow messed up the look of "My Computer" (you know where you see all the drives and stuff), and now it looks like how it was back in Windows 98 and ME.

I want to know how to change it back to its default view, as it was back when I just installed XP the first time.

    Thanks for any assisstance.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Open Display in Control Panel.
On the Themes tab, under Theme, select the Windows XP from the pull down menu.

Hey Zephyr, thanks for the advice, however, that did not work... Any other ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Open the My Computer screen and select VIEW from the toolbar and then click on TILE. That will return you to the default screen view for My Computer. You may want to try the other settings just to get familiar with them in case you may prefer one over the default.

    Good luck
