I tried everything on that site. Nothing seems to help. It won't even let me access anything in the my computer directory.

What happened when you ran Shell Ex View and disabled the shell extensions? Since you can't open the My Computer window in normal mode have you tried booting into Safe Mode and seeing if it opens there? Do you have any removable devices that are connected to your computer such as printers or flash drives? If so try removing them from the computer and then try and open My Computer.

I disabled all third party extensions and it still wouldn't load. When I put it in safe mode, My Computer loaded up perfectly fine.

Ok, at least it works in Safe Mode. Try this, click Start< Run type msconfig and hit enter. When the System Configuration Utility opens click the Services tab. Now once you are there click the checkbox that says hide all microsoft services. All the microsoft services will now be hidden and will only show the third party services. Click the button that says disable all. Once thats done click the Startup tab. Click the disable all button so that all the startup programs are disabled. Once you are done click apply and ok and then reboot the computer. Once the computer has been rebooted test and see if My Computer opens normally. If it does then go back into the System Configuration Utility and re-enable the startup programs and the third party services one by one with a reboot after each change and test. I know this can be time consuming but its the only way to know which third party software is conflicting with Windows Explorer.

It loaded up but whenever I go to select a folder through the drop down menu it still locks up. Also, it take forever to load up.

Thanks. Disabling the WIA did the trick. Now it loads right away.
