I'm not overly familiar with My Briefcase on XP Home. Something I'm doing ain't right. Can anyone tell me the steps for syncronizing folders between a laptop and desktop connected via a crossover cable?

    Many Thanks

The instructions in "help & support" are excellent. If you open start~help & support and type in briefcase, your answer should be the first one listed.

But the key phrase is "connected computers" so are you sure you have a connection?

I've followed the steps to the letter but it still isn't syncronizing.
Such a simple thing but they just aren't syncing. Does anyone know of known problems? Perhaps one of them is occuring here.
    Thanks
