after an hour or two working with WinWord 2007 under Windows 7, I find that a strange problem arises: dialogue boxes -- such as the "Fonts" or "Paragraph" ones -- suddenly slow to a crawl. I get "not responding" error messages and eventually the program returns to normal. But it happens again the next time I use one of those boxes.

I've tried reinstalling WinWord 2007 and it doesn't help. The best I can do is to reboot my PC.

I meant "program." It's called Advanced System Care.

:) Yes, I've seen mention of their Advanced System Care but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Their IObit Uninstaller is free, portable, easy to use and it gets the job done.

There was a bit of a ruckus a while back about them stealing code from MalwareBytes. Haven't heard anything since then though.
