MusicMatch CPU Blackhole

I have been having trouble with music match jukebox...it worked fine for a long time and the suddenly stopped working. what it it does, when I open it is run the CPU usage up to 100% and keeps it there until I kill the process in task manager. So basically i can't even use the program.

I was using 7.5 and upgraded to 8 with the same problem. I did a clean re-install with the same problem. I ran virus scans and registry cleaners and everything else I could think of but still, music match turns into a cpu blackhole, taking all of windows resources with it. I really only use it to rip cd's, so if there is another ripping program someone can recommend I'll try it, otherwise I hope someone can offer some solutions.

I am running windows XP, P4, 512 ram....
