I have 2 Wi-Fi networks that I use on my laptop. One is a normal internet connected WiFi router. I have no problem with that since that is the primary setting. The second, and the reason for this post, is a special purpose limited WiFi device. It has no DNS so it is an IP address only network. What I am trying to solve is the need to manually configure the wireless adapter IP address every time I want to change networks. I have researched this and cannot find a solution that works. I thought setting the alternate configuration for the adapter would do it but no joy. It seems that no DNS is the main problem. Can someone point me in the right direction? TIA.

Its a Stoker BBQ pit controller. In any case it seems to be working now. Apparently a reboot was needed for some reason. Thanks.
