    Hi,
I support the IT at a computer club where we have Plusnet ADSL and a TG582N router. (I am in the UK)
I need to be able to remotely access three servers on the local network. Two of these are IP9258HP power switches (from openxtra.co.uk) which I use to control the mains supply and reboot the PCs. The third device is a NAS.
I have successfully forwarded port 80 to one of the power switches to enable remote access, but do not know how to handle the other two devices.
What I am currently doing is remotely powering up one of the PCs on the network and then accessing the other two devices via the local network. I use LogMeIn for this.
Can anyone advise how I can get direct remote access to all three devices.
I use no-ip.com for server names because the IP address given by Plusnet is not fixed.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

Either manage the other devices from the pc using logmein, or use port forwarding for the other devices. You'd have to change the listen port on the devices.

For example, you successfully forwarded port 80 to one of the switches. This works because the switch's Web mgmt server is using port 80. You should be able to configure the other switches to use a different port, e.g 8081, 8082, etc. Then forward those ports in the router and access them like so: http://<name>.noip.com:<port number>. (or however noip structures urls, just append the url with a colon followed by the port number.

You would have to change port numbers because multiple devices cannot be accessed remotely, using one port forwarding rule, if they all listen on the same port.

Were it me, I would leave it as is and manage them all via logmein running on one workstation. It's more secure that way as the only way the bulk of the network hardware can be accessed is via the LAN.
