Windows Vista multimedia video controller

    confict with PCI device and multimedia video controller shown on device manager.
    Using Acer 4520 laptop windows vista.

    I had checked acer online to download all type of driver, no clue.
    I also try to find from recovery disc, no file for "multimedia video controller "

    Where to get this file?

    Never heard of "multimedia video controller ". Are you sure its not "multimedia audio controller" ?

    Do you have an "old" (in computer terms) piece of hardware connected to the laptop? Old hardware or it's drivers might be isolating resources for itself.

    A resource conflict is rare in Vista (it was more prevalent in earlier versions). Post the exact error information or where you go to find it. "Conflict" could mean many things.
