    Hi,
You will need to supply more info...or...look for it yourself. If it is a new install of Windows and it is not a separate (add-in) audio card, you will need to install the major drivers from the manufacturer's drivers CD or find the drivers on the manufacturer's website. If it a separate (add-in) audio card, you will need to run the driver installation CD or find the drivers at the audio card manufacturer's website.

Have you found the audio was working, then stopped working? Are you installing a new version of Windows?

You are a beginner, running an operating system (OS), you will find you need to "search out" the relevant drivers to run the hardware. All the hardware will have a make (brand) and model. You will need to install the relevant drivers (it's fun when you get an error message that does not state what hardware it is associated with  :) ).

Look up the specifications for your computer (do you have a User Guide/manual?). That should list what audio controller you have and you should be able to find the drivers from there.

You will need to investigate your system :)

    Matt
