MSN starting up

    I have windows xp how can I stop MSN from coming on at start up?

    If you're talking about Windows Messenger (which is the version of Microsoft's instant messenger that comes with XP), open Messenger and click on Tools (I think) and then Options. Under one of those tabs (poke around, you'll find it) uncheck "Start when Windows loads "...or something to that effect. (I haven't used MSN/Windows Messenger in a long time, so the exact names of these things is pretty fuzzy)

    In addition, if you're using Outlook Express, open OE and under Tools>Options>General tab, uncheck "Automatically log on to Windows Messenger.
