msn messenger ,mutiple users

    Hi ,windows xp home edition,msn messenger.I have two users set up at log on,each of us use msn messenger but neither logs on automatically even though that button is checked to do so.Also mine has my details(name -password) to click on but my partners has to be re typed each time.Tried a complete removal and reload without success.A small but frustrating problem if anyone can help.Hope I havent been to vague.Thanks.Dave.

    Only 1 messenger can sign in automatically per screen name. Uncheck the auto login box, highlight the user name and type 1 in, then password, then recheck the box and login. Logout and close. Right click the icon on taskbar and left click 'sign in as'........' If starting from quick launch or programs list, it should sign you in automatically. If not, from messenger window choose tools>options>general tab and put a check next to 'Allow automatic sign in when connected'.
