MSN Messenger 6 contact list

Is the contact list saved on my hard drive, or on MSN's server? I don't want to have to relist everyone once I have XP.

 

Nah, stored on MSN server.

Soon as u sign in on your new OS your contact list will be there.

Just like it is if you sign in on someone elses computer.

 

Just like to add, you can save your contact list onto your computer incase MSN servers go belly up and lose your contacts for whatever reason. Very rare, if at all though that it happens.

Depending on the version of MSN Messenger you have its either under File then "Save contacts as "(Or sumthing similar) or if youre running MSN Messenger 6 its Contacts -> Save Contact List.
