I have been asked if hackers can actually hack into an MSN audio or video conversation and view the video without the users knowing they are hacking in on them? I told them I didn't know but I'd ask a friend who is well read on the Internet and could possibly tell me.

What is your knowledge on hackers getting in on video conversations? Is is possibly?

It would seem to me that a hacker breaking in on a video could be detected, that his presence would disturb the connection??? Any ideas??

    Thanks

If someone was watching the data flow and making a copy, you probably wouldn't notice anything. Any good packet sniffer could get a copy of the raw data stream. Doing something with it would be another matter but unless the data was encrypted, it could certainly be taken/copied and replayed later if the person taking it was technically up to the task.
