MSN does not finish in Oprea browser

When I start Opera browser, MSN does not complete on the screen. Most of the right side is missing. Also the cursor keeps working in the background. Maybe go on forever. While this happens, I cannot click my way out of this. This does not happen while using Internet Explorer. I have scanned with Anti Virus, Spybot and Adaware. Found nothing. A couple of days ago this also happened and later in the day it went away. Now it is back.

 

Been down for 2 days. Somehow a password was deleted from setup on the DSL Gateway. I typed it back in, and now everything the way it is supposed to be. I dug deeper to try to find a Virus or other Malware to learn how this problem might have happened. Nothing. Oh well it works now.

 

Oh well it does not work now. When I start the Opera browser, I get a notice at the bottom in the progress bar, that says Completed Request to View.atdmt.com. This is from an ad agency that puts ads in MSN screen. I removed all of the atdmt.com that I found in the Registry and other places. It still does not show in Internet Explorer.

I have been through many malware and virus scans. Applications and web sites. Have not found anything. MSN is back yesterday and today. The background color was changed yesterday to black and is back to blue today. It appears that Microsoft is messing with it.

 

I have Opera and can bring up msn without a problem - never experienced what you are reporting; I'm not a regular user of msn so I can't comment on experiencing any changes. I guess you are saying that you have previously posted on other site(s) hijackthis logs and been given a clean report? I'm using Opera version 9.64 without any issues - is that your version? Also wondering if you are an msn isp account holder using other MSN software which might account for background changes and "messing" with it.

 

Today MSN is allright. I use Opera 9.64. Computer is clean. I use Qwest phone company DSL, which uses MSN as the ISP. I definitely think something is messing with it. Maybe Microsoft!!!
