When I start or reboot my computer, after the desktop displays, an error window titled 'msmsgs' pops up and it says "Illegal operation, invalid page fault at RTCRTP.dll and lists a number of registers, bytes, and stack dump info. Closing the window returns everything else to normal. I do not have instant messenger running. Could this be something about NAV 2003 trying to start IM?? Because if I go into NAV options and then messaging and check IM and close that window, then the same msmsgs error window pops up. I have it unchecked right now. Ken

Go back to a good copy of the registry .

Toggle F8 ( when , verifying DMI pool message comes on ) or Press
Ctrl during bootup , depends on your computer .

Select , Safe mode Command prompt

    After the C prompt , type , scanreg /restore

Follow the prompts and select a registry dated prior to the problems .
