I went into the event viewer under Applications and found this warning. Source:MSinstaller, Category:None,Type:Warning,EventID: 1004. Desription: Detection of product{901B0409-6000-11D3-8CFE0054838C9} feature "Spelling and Grammer "files_1033 component{D64CB221-801F-11D1-A806-00AA00479089}failed. The resource C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\Office10\MSO.ACL does not exist. Anyone have any idea what this warning is and how to correct it? Thanks in advance for any help.

The weird thing is I don't have MS Office. So I don't know where to look for it or how to repair it. Any ideas?

Newt. I noticed I get that error message after sending an e-mail through OE.

Without doing any investigation into this weird event perhaps you have OE's options set to spellcheck your emails and it, being Microsoft, defaults or assumes you have an MSoffice product installed and looks for this utility where it would be if you had it...:)

Hence the error event upon not being able to find it where expected.

Do you have a spellchecker for OE?
If not, how about installing a SpellChecker for OE:

One of the above should work for ya'.
Perhaps if OE is looking for a spellchecker that is there you won't see this particular event again.

I downloaded that program, but it didn't help. I had uninstalled Works Suite 2002 it came with Office tools. I do not use works or the office tools but it seems I can't delete the program without creating problems with OE, unless I reinstall the OS. Which I really do not want to do. So I reinstalled Works Suite 2002 and the error in the event viewer has not occurred since. If anyone knows how to get rid of Works Suite 2002 completely and without me having event viewer MSinstaller errors when using OE it would be greatly appreciated.
