Today, for some reason or other, I'm getting a regular popup when I'm in Outlook Express saying that msimn.exe has been blocked from accessing the network. I'm receiving and sending mail as usual, so I'm wondering what might be happening here. In my firewall settings msimn.exe is fully allowed. As I've said, I see nothing negative happening (I'm receiving and sending mail as usual). Curious.

Aha! I've just noticed that images are not displaying in the emails. Links show as X's but they do open when clicked.

In OE - Tools > Options > Security, under Downloaded Images - 'Block images and other external content ....' is unchecked.

Inexplicably the issue has disappeared and I'm no longer being bothered by this message.

    All is well. :)
