While checking my storage I found an odd directory :\414f5bf29c2e38b4abd2. It contains several files presumably related to the Application files in it. Msiexec.exe and spuninst.exe. I have done a search and fopund these files on my c:drive in what I assume is their correct location \windows\system32. My question is, can I delete these extra files that have turned up in my other hard drive?

If that directory is located on some drive other than your system drive, it should be safe to delete it and all contents. It would appear to be a misdirected update download.

To be on the safe side, send it to the Recycle Bin and hold it there for a while to see if it is then safe to dump it.
