Back again with the same problem. (Although the Error window doesn't showup as often!)
I am running WIN98 with IE6. I have AdAware installed. I have all the "listings" entered in IE Safety Zone.
    The last error signature: APP: Iexplore.exe/Ver. 6.02600.0/Mod: unknown/Ver: 0.0.0.0. and Offset: 11c073a6.
Have I missed something in the previous postings? Or does anyone have a suggestion on which direction I should head in now? TIA willieboye

    Hi Willieboye
Without knowing what the other post was about..perhaps this page may help you sort out the error?

    willieboye,

How about providing a link or links to those other posts. I suppose we could search them out, but...

Do you have Office 2000 installed? If so, have you applied Service Release 1? If not, do so and see whether this resolves the problem. If you don't have Office 2000 installed, disable Error Reporting and you should get a more comprehensive error message (which you can post) when IE next crashes.

    Hi Brett,
If you have IE6 installed, should you still have to install IE5.5 Service Pack 2? The last time I checked the report error, I received a not to the effect that the program was no longer in use. TIA, willieboye

I was referring to the Service Release for Office 2000?

If you disable the Reprting Tool (as per the link) you should get a more comprehensive version of the error message which yo can then copy and paste to the boards.
