I have Office XP installed and everytime I am in Ms Word, if for example i click on the bullets and numbering button in the middle of a document, i am getting the whole document bulleted, from the top ... eventually if i click on the Ctrl-Z (Undo), the bullets are removed, leaving just the one bullet which i wanted in the first place.

Is this a feature in Ms Access (the whole document get bullets) which may be turned off ?

    Thank You

    Max,

I suspect you have automatic update set for the style. Go to Formatting, then Styles and then make sure that Automatic Updating is not selected for any of your styles.

Hi George, thanks for that tip. I have a couple of large docs. that do the same bullet thing that Max describes. Drives you crazy. Now I hope I can stop the auto update. :D
